Christmas Eve at Orchard Road
Sunday, January 15, 2006
On Christmas eve, Along and her hubby, Faries were supposed to take their daughter, Tina to Botanic Gardens. She asked me to join them. However it was cancelled because the weather was not good. Raining so heavily so she asked me where I wanted to go. I suggested that we go to Orchard road as we had not been there for quite long time. Although I knew there was a lot of changes in Orchard road so I wanted to explore there. They went ahead with my suggestion.
We took a cab and stopped at Tanglin Mall. There were stalls at the outside of Tanglin mall, selling secondhand clothes, shoes, bags, toys, belts, lamps, key chains and more...You see my sisters once bought bags they liked when they were shopping there. So we explored these stalls to see anything nice or interesting. Very crowded. Along saw a cute cat bolster at one of stalls so Faries bought it. This bolster has two faces of cat on the ends. You can see this bolster hanged on Tina's pram in the second picture. Funny. Okay. We walked to Borders and then proceeded to Takashimaya. Wooow... Very crowded. It was understandable that they were celebrating Christmas. Poor us... We were very hungry as no dinner. Food courts, restaurants, McDonald's and KFC were full house. We decided to go to Bedok Simpang for supper.
