Magic drawing board

My sister bought a small magentic drawing board for her daughter, Tina as she loves drawing. I doodle on her little drawing board to kill my time. Gradually I love her drawing board as I can learn different techniques to draw on it. Posted by Picasa

Fight Bed bugs!!!

It has been a week I couldn't sleep well because there were a lot of small red bumps on my arms and legs. Every time I sleep, I itch my arms and legs. I got fed up with a lot of bed bugs keep sucking my blood! I had to keep change pillow, bolster and mattress covers. My mother bought pillow cover for me and sister helped me to vacuum and spray the dettol to kill the germs on the mattress. Finally I was able to sleep in peace. I wish I burned all bed bugs with my fire gun!

Sewing a pillow cover

Monday, August 15, 2005

Front

Back

Jun asked me to sew one more pillow as her daughter, Tina lost it during their outing yesterday. This is my second time to sew pillow for Tina. Juli bought two, big and small pillows in order to save time and trouble and then she replaced "fake" cotton with cotton come from sheep in these. I only sew cover for small pillow. I run out of silk fabric, as Tina likes its smooth and cool. Juli suggests that I use my mother's cloth which is made of silk and also sew wrist band to pillow cover so that Tina will not lose it again. I finish sewing pillow cover. Take a look at it. Nice? I like this floral printed. Does it look like a handbag pouch?

My sisters attend their friend, Aida's baby shower at friend's place. They ask me to help them to carry a hamper because Jun have to take care of her daughter, Tina while Juli have to bring food for little buffet. It is funny and enjoyable but so tiring. You know why? I have to keep an eye on my niece, Tina. She walks around, touch cups and plays with chair. She does not want to sit still. She wants to play. I keep running after her as it cause my left ankle aches. Poor me!

Family at Singapore Zoo

We headed to Singapore Zoo yesterday morning. I had been to zoo with my family one time when I was young so I wanted to see how much Singapore Zoo has changed. We walked to see animals under the sun scorched on us. It was so hot luckily they built air-conditioner shelters for the visitors to have a cool rest. Before we took a rest at air-con shelter, we saw the visitors rode in horse carriages. After a short rest, we headed to the playground, there was a lot of children playing with water on the "wading" pool just like the children get wet and fun at Bugis Junction. It was popular with children. And even my niece, Tina. She had a great time playing with water in the "wading " pool. She looked funny wore in "swollen" diaper because her diaper absorbed water! Unlike the past, there were open shelters for the visitors to sit down and rest and there was a small pet farm for children. I had a great time with my family althought the trip was so tiring. I better not say it. I think you go and see for yourself.

Shopping Spree!!!

The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?

Last Sunday, my sister, Juli and I met our eldest sister, Jun at Expo and headed to Indonesia fesitval sale in Expo. As some booths sell stone jewellery, silver, beads and etc so Jun was looking for beads necklace to match her tailored blouse. We walked around and browsed the booths and finally Juli found beads necklace. Jun liked it, as these beads were red seeds called "love peas". You know it is not easy to find "love peas". I liked these "love peas" too. They were beautiful and unique. And then she bought it happily. After they bought things.

We headed straight to warehouse sale, Little John. Luckily, it was not crowded so we were busy shopping together. Later our parents joined with Jun's daughter, Tina. I bought a sunglasses, waist pouch and scrub wash for my blackhead nose. We enjoyed shopping and also love Sale!

Is his pose nice?

The day was enjoyable as my family and I took Tina out to East Coast Park for a relaxation last Saturday. It was fun to watch Tina playing with water on the shore with her grandma.
